The only reliable way to kill them is to use a prawn suit with a grapple arm and drill arm attachment. You can find the prawn and drill arm fragments in the mine behind Delta island. I forget where i found the grapple attachment though. Another option is to simply find the point defense module for the seatruck and keep leading the chelicerate away.
